Triple Green and Pink Tourmaline Ring

Such a pretty triple tourmaline ring, featuring a central pink tourmaline set between two pale green tourmaline stones.

The gemstones are set in gold vermeil and sit beautifully on a wide band of gently hammered silver. Delicate and feminine, the soft green of the outer stones perfectly complements the warm pink of the centre stone.

The name tourmaline is derived from the Sinhalese word turmali, meaning “mixed gemstones”, reflecting the remarkable range of colours in which the stone occurs — from soft pinks to vivid greens and deep blues.

According to Egyptian legend, tourmaline passed over a rainbow during its journey to earth, collecting its many colours along the way. With the pink and green stones featured here, we love the idea of wearing something that may once have travelled through a rainbow.
